It's not so much what lifts me up as what drowns it out. For that? Futurepop/Industrial. The more üntz factor* the better. Generally it leaves me either wanting to dance my ass off, drive several miles over the speed limit, and/or kick someone's ass, all of which are better than feeling depressed.
* please don't make me explain üntz factor. Just say üntz out loud several times until you get it.
