one day... ONE DAY... I will see this with my own two eyes

LOOKIT THIS FUCKING GORGEOUS SUBWAY STATION. IT'S SO GODDAMN PRETTY THAT THEY CAN'T EVEN HAVE TRAINS STOP THERE ANYMORE LEST COMMUTERS PASS OUT AND DIE FROM ARCHITECTURE STROKE. *

* actually it's because modern trains are too long for it. Also because older subway cars didn't have doors in the middle, which on a curve that pronounced would be nowhere near the platform.

One of these days I will remember to check the Transit Museum schedule at such a point in time where I will not have already missed the City Hall tour. One of these days. Meanwhile I will just stare at this picture and do whatever subway nerds do instead of fapping. Or maybe they just fap, I don't know GODDAMN THAT'S PRETTEH.

That IS pretteh.....

They just fap in the subway, I think. Into transit maps.

That is hella pretteh. Which line is that on?

Also, Moscow subway is superior!

it's where the 6 train mysteriously disappears to when it kicks all the passengers off the train on the downtown side of the Brooklyn Bridge station only to reappear on the uptown side about three minutes later.

and yeah, if I ever make it to Moscow, fuck red square, I'm going to be gawking at the subterranean pretteh.

So pretty. That would make a wonderful Steampunkish pic.

That is so gorgeous. I was just reading some of the building details from 1906, and was HOPING they'd have images of the pretteh, but they were only showing the steel and concrete placement and the cut-and-cover. They didn't put the fancy work in till after it was covered and then it was too dark for most cameras back then. >.<
