My gods, what a glorious weekend! Sunny and warm, not hot, still cooling to somewhat chilly at night. Can it stay like this all summer?

cell23 and I certainly did that hitting up the Taste of Amherst for dinner both Friday and Saturday evenings. Oh, chicken tikka masala, why are you so fucking delicious? unnnnnf. At least my craving for it has been alleviated somewhat so I should be okay passing India House on my way to the bus from work - that smell maddens me every day. :) but yeah, they had a fabulous weekend for it.
Rest of the weekend was a lot of sleeping. Mostly because my digestive system was less happy about Taste of Amherst than my brain was, but some days I do feel like pleasing my face >>> pleasing my system, so I told my intestines to fuck themselves and gladly paid the price later. Worth it.
In amongst the food and the Odinsleeps,cell23 and I did end up driving down to West Springfield to talk tuxes for the wedding, and I got to watch him try on nice suity type objects. My man, he clean up niiiiiiiiiice. :) After which I also got to introduce him to the Donut Dip. Oh, Donut Dip. So many memories of ass o'clock in the morning missions for bismarcks back in the day. Glad to pass on the delicious donut knowledge. Sunday we spent at his folks' place for a bit while the Tatro boys did man-things about the house, mostly involving lawnmowers and hedge clipping. Was good to see head58 - don't remember the last time that happened.
There was supposed to be Drinktank last night as well, but it got tabled until next week, which was okay by me as all I had to bring with me was three snippets of things rather than a completed chunk of writing. Hopefully I can fix that by next weekend.
Oh. There was also an ill-advised trip to Dakin in that weekend somewhere. Lets just saycell23 and I now have the new-kitty fever. There is one I have my eye on that I need to call and ask for an update, as he either got transferred or adopted. But cell23 and I have been discussing logistics and names, so it looks like kitty may indeed be happening. News on that as it develops.
I don't know, life continues apace. this week I need to roust mine lazy ass and clean house, but really that's all that's happening in Andeeland lately.
