half a snow day, sorta
Mar. 19th, 2013 10:00 amI woke up at the usual time being all like UGGGH SNOW this morning, but then I got a text saying the office was delayed. YAY SNOW.
But seriously, my winter loving ass is so not here for this anymore. I want it to be spring already, so I can stop stressing about our electric bill, so I can start this summer's garden in earnest, so my fingernails will stop being purple without the aid of polish. I want color to return to the world, part of the reason I've been in such a funk is the never-ending gray everywhere. It doesn't help that we've been getting one sunny mostly clear day out of what feels like twenty lately. Sunshine, I wants it.
Eh enough complaining about the weather. I have to make a catch-up post at some point because the past few days have been full of terrifying lows, dizzying highs, and creamy middles. Quite literally on that last bit, actually, this was a weekend rather heavy on creamy treats, actually. But that's neither here or there. Maybe later when I return from my shortened workday? Ugh. Maybe I'll just do a bullet list instead. But still. Not right now.
