I was gonna do a big ass birthday post here, but considering I'm rather lucky to not be viciously mutilated after recruiting aersi and verbena76 to sing Happy Birthday under cell23's window obnoxious caroler style last night, I'd best save the horrendous party-at-the-gay-bar CSS glitter for another post. So I'll just say "Happy birthday, sweetie" and leave it there. >;)

One last month in the year... I'm determined to make it a good one.

a couple of random points

Just for poops and hahas I put my entire ipod on Shuffle. So far I've been treated to two Wesley willis songs, an oddly trancy :wumpscut: track that sound like it escaped from a Final Fantasy soundtrack, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," and The Penis Truck Song (NSFW) which I swear I hadn't listened to in like five years (it might need a techno remix at this point). Last.fm is going to break from WTF.

Also why is it that when your nose is stuffy it gets better if you sit up, and clears up if you walk around? Is it one of those weird connective tissue human body weirdnesses kinda like if you pinch the bridge of someone's nose and ask them to wiggle their fingers you can totally feel it?

Christ, my head is killing me... And yet this will not stop me from singing along to Prince. I HAS THE OFFICE TO MYSELF I CAN DO THAT OKAY

With friends such as these...

Happiness is a friend from across the country randomly calling you because they're having a bad day... and rewarded for their trouble by you filling their heads with the image of horrible things being done to famous ducks. (reminds me kshandra - Aflac duck/Donald? OTP? I'll get you a towel...)

Happiness is also being in a car with aersi and the roommate and a gross but lively discussion of sea life in orifices it should never inhabit.

I love my friends some days. Thanks for taking the edge off of what could have been a super annoying evening indeed.

Downloaded The Fame Monster last night. Been listening to it more or less on loopsince about noon, with special attention paid to "Bad Romance" and "Teeth."

The terrifying thing about her isn't so much that she appears to be batshit insane (I'm inclined to agree that it's a calculated insanity, not an actual one). It's the fact that under the batshit insanity, the woman is pretty fiercely talented.

Also, not everyone can get away with stalking across a room wearing an entire polar bear for a coat.
