Change of subject
So. Halloween costume progress:
"Costume" 1 for Scott and Julie's bal masque wedding:

extrajoker mask, the green/white bodice and a black skirt. Check.
Costume 2 for halloweeny party goodness (Zatanna)
White shirt: check
tights: cables, not fishnets, but at least I'll be warm. :)
Knee high patent leather boots: oh yeah.
black panties: yep.
Bow tie and gloves: just picked up this morning
Hat: Absofuckinglutely, it's the whole reason I wanted to do this costume anyway.
Something white to pull out of said hat: check.
Cummerbund: well, it's a wide lace up fetish belt, but it will do
Jacket: I was going to go hunting for a tailed tux jacket today, but then my responsible adult voice woke up and pointed out that i not only didn't have that kind of money to blow on Halloween but that I had not one but two serviceable black blazers in my closet. (and if I was really in a pinch,cell23's is only a wee bit wide in the shoulders.) I'm slightly disappointed by this, but the costume doesn't REQUIRE tails so I'm going with it.
Hair for both events: Going to blow it straight either tonight or tomorrow night, wear it pinned up for the wedding and stuffed under a black pageboy bob wig for the party.
Now I just need to practice talking backwards.
