Stylistically, it reminds me of the original platforms and fixtures of the subway when it first opened, which you can still see bits and pieces of on local 6 platforms from Brooklyn Bridge=42nd street, that shit was beautiful back in the day. And have you ever seen the original City Hall station? GUH. Still, it's kinda sad that it got more utilitarian and less pretty throughout the years, though with the construction/restoration they've been trying to address that.
