I don't tend to put up my 365 pics anymore... mostly because they're usually fairly mediocre to crappy cell phone pictures, and also considering that my emotional and anxiety state was over the summer, pictures were about the furthest thing from my mind. I only just now started back up with forcing myself to take SOMETHING every day again.

But you know what, every so often I get a pic that makes all the crappy ones worth it. And it usually involves a short stack.



We were just horsing around with the camera. Lovebug, I think, is gonna be a shutterbug himself - he loves it when I show him how the Hatemonger works, though right now he doesn't quite have the hang of it beyond "look in the little window and press the big silver button."

Anyway just wanted to share the cute.

My husband-- who is much much more experienced than I in photography-- says that he uses the firehose effect when he takes pictures. He'll take many many pictures, but out of all of those pictures, only a few will turn out good. That's pretty much how it works.

This is why I love SD cards. If I were limited to a 35 exposure film roll I'd just give up on cameras entirely (nah that's not true, I used to constantly run around with a camera and a bandolier of film as a kid, lol, I just didn't care as much what the end result looked like)
