Bit of an email from Nuke today:

God doesn't give you the people you want; He gives you the people you NEED... to help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.

There's a bit of well-timed perspective. *sigh* Yeah, no way of avoiding it, this week is gonna be full of the squirm inducing think. And goddamn it *sigh* I still need to go get my wrist tattoo.

In other news, I am suiting up and heading to Haven tonight. I need to get my EXTREME FLAIL on.

oh, my earlier comment to this didn't post - basically it was me wibbling about driving down after I terrified myself driving home. I just decided we're going, damn the torpedoes. Show up at my house @ 10:15 if you wanna ride.
