I believe in Australia they actually tried to put it on enough censuses to have it declared an official religion, but I'm pretty sure it was mostly for the lulz.

I know a few people very serious about it. There was a movement or something after the first Star Wars came out that was "The Force... is Jesus Christ", and it just kept going.
