Some time ago, I had a conversation with padparadscha on Diane Duane's LJ about the Harry Potter books and recommending the Young Wizards series to those who enjoyed HP.
She friended me and I started to read her.
Then some shorter time ago, she did this thing where you introduce a friend on your list and tell why they're worth reading. She linked to Andee and I've been reading her ever since.
