Second - Karaoke night definitely has to be a regular occurrance when I get back. Too much fun was had with aersi, Mish, avalon616, and cell23 last night. Even despite the busload of Argentinean douchebags that took over the bar and thoroughly pissed off the DJ, the bartenders and the regulars. (Though the bit where aersi and I were being goofy and dancing together and two of the Argentinean boys cut in to apparently save us from our dirty lesbianery was quite entertaining... especially with verbena76 and cell23 sitting not even ten feet away.) But even that was fun because the DJ spread the word to the entire bar to fuck with them as much as possible. "Cotton Eyed Joe" and the associated line dance, by the way, isn't meant to be a contact sport, but BY GOD, WE MADE IT ONE. Also chocolate cake shots ARE delicious. Also also, I must salsa dance with avalon616 more, rawr.

Karaoke night was followed up with some serious curl up and be squooshy time with cell23. Actually it was preceded by some of that too, after some rather superdelicious cajun stew. I must say... even though work, money and headnoise is kind of annoying me, most of what I'm feeling right now can be summed up in this scene from Coming To America:
