Today's 365 picture:



I was trying to get a picture of Mr. Lovebug's face (which, by the way, is COVERED in gingerbread cookie crumbs and frosting, seeing as we made cookies today). Fail on that, but totally WIN on catching THAT expression on cell23. I quite literally almost fell over laughing when I looked down at my cell phone after that shot.

Really need to find that damn camera charger though... I have a feeling most of these 365 shots are going to be cell phone specials, simply because I have my phone on me more often than the Hatemonger. Maybe I need to make sure one shot per week is from the Actual Camera.

As evidenced by the picture, today was a running around with the kids day. They got their Christmas presents from me this morning (Kidzilla got James and the Giant Peach and Half Magic, and Mr. Lovebug got one of them thar Thomas the Tank and Friends trains, which he proceeded to not let out of sight or hand all day). There was much consumption of gingerbread, both the little house they decorated at their mom's on NYE, (which was demolished and devoured with gusto) and some snowman cookies we baked today (which were significantly more delicious). Overall, for a weekend with them, it was pretty low key, and that's including the expected effects of eating a good amount of SUGAR today. Evening was nicely rounded out by an hour or so of glomph on the living room couch with cell23, then going home and watching a very good episode of SVU while combing out the very back row of the dreads. Ye gods. Five dreads all under four inches long, and I still ended up with a tribble the size of my fist. Still, rate I'm going I should be able to brush my hair by Super Bowl Sunday... whenever that is this year.

ETA: the promos for this Spring's eps of SVU, btw? *covetous whine* ...I'll be in my bunk. Mariska Hargitay as dominatrix, DOWANTDOWANTDOWANTKTHXBAI.
