Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn-offs.
Day Eight: Three turn-ons.
Day Nine: Two images that describe your life right now, and why.
Day Ten: One confession.

Day Two: Nine things about yourself.

I usually put the usual quirky fun facts in here, but since I just got over dealing with my main freaky medical trivia fact I think just to make it fun I'm going to make it nine things i don't usually list in these questions.

  1. I am hyper-conscious of others perceptions of me and have been known to go to incredible lengths to act normal/as if nothing is ever wrong in an effort to be thought of as fun/sane/undramatic/low-maintenance.

  2. I technically can swim. But I have a gnawing terror of being in water deeper than my own height, especially if I can't see.

  3. I have had a recurring nightmare about being pushed onto NYC subway tracks in front of an oncoming train since I was four years old. I don't have it nearly as often anymore, but it still occasionally shows up.

  4. Things I would learn if I had time, money and an attention span longer than that of a squirrel: contact juggling, pastry cookery, Actual! photography, poi, belly dance (I will do this again someday), stick fighting, ruby on rails, professional framing

  5. I like bands most other people hate. Examples include Soulja Boy, Diddy, Backstreet Boys, Miley Cyrus, Nickelback, Toby Keith, Coldplay, and the Pussycat Dolls. I still hate Taylor Swift however.

  6. I sing much in the way a cat purrs - I either do it when I'm happy or as a self-soothing behavior. I also tend to do it more in the car, shower or while washing dishes, as the background noise'll cover up flubbed notes if anyone's listening.

  7. I'm something of a pyromaniac - I love open flames, gas stoves, candles, fireplaces, flaming desserts, fireworks, matches, zippo lighters, grills, anything associated with fires and the starting thereof. I'd be in steampunk pyro heaven if gaslamps and lighting came back into vogue - one of my favorite restaurants in NY (sadly now closed) had a gaslamp lighting ritual every night at dinnertime, as it still had the original fixtures operating. This is also why I wanna learn poi someday.

  8. I am pretty happy that I am not living in close proximity to anyone with chemical sensitivities for the first time in years, as I love scented things and can burn/wear them with impunity again. I am also going to be finally joining the cult of BPAL shortly in light of this as well, seeing as the Manbeast wears Dragon's Heart and it makes me want to gnaw on his neck all day every day and I want to find a scent for me that provokes similar reactions.

  9. I am left handed, and never really learned to hold a writing implement correctly. This has led to some pickiness concerning my pens, as since the side of my hand tends to drag across the page and thus across what I have already written, smudging becomes an immediate concern. Also my handwriting is weird and spidery and small, so a fine tip pen tends to be appreciated over a standard ball point. Currently my favorites are Pilot pens, as they write very smoothly and set relatively quickly. Now if only they were indelible.
