May. 23rd, 2011 09:03 pmLined up before me are four film canisters. innostrantsa's surprise has filled three and 1/3 of them. For comparison's sake, a single vial of beads barely fills a third of a canister.Yeah, I should be good with the black for a while. O_o
This adventure in bulk beads has got me strongly considering taking up an M&M Minis habit again. Not only are Minis far more delicious than regular M&Ms (probably because of a greater ratio of candy shell to chocolate and therefore more sugar) but the tubes make excellent bead storage if you have enough of a color to fill one. Which I currently do.
Where I am with projects right now is that I carefully packed up the last two bracelets I posted about meaning to finish them in NY. Yeah, that didn't happen. They still lie packed in my old beading case. Finishing them will be a task for tomorrow or Wednesday I think. Also thanks to the volunteering of aersi for Meaty Wrist duty, I have some idea as to where to put the snaps and what size of those to get in the future. Pretty much my goal for the end of the week is to get what I have going completely done, order the gift tags I mocked up on Vistaprint, and then open my Etsy shop for realz, with like actual Stuff To Sell. We'll see how that goes.
ETA: Oh! I also spent last Monday night painstakingly recreating the Witch pattern, so I have that for when I redo her.
