Time's a funny slippery thing, isn't it? This morning, traveling through the fog to work, it dawned on me (literally and figuratively, actually) that yesterday three years ago I left the Valley, unsure if I was returning and if so, when.
( cut for pictures, nostalgia and a large heaping pile of sappy )
In much less sappy news HOLY CRAP HUNGER GAMES TONIGHT. Still waffling on whether I totally want to buy a ticket and go tonight, or whether I want to act like a responsible adult with work in the morning and go later on in the weekend. Seeing as the other theater it's showing in is likely to sell out before I make up my damn mind and I don't quite feel like spending two hours of my evening beforehand waiting in order to get a decent seat, I'm leaning toward being an adult tonight. The preliminary reviews so far are all really promising, so I think I can safely wait and partake in Games squee a bit later on. Possibly with other adult company.
