Busy day

htl_1126's baby shower was lovely. Lawd, her kid's gonna be a whopper though. She looks like she's gotten into beach ball smuggling in her spare time.

Had some girl time with Kidzilla when I got back, while the boys went off to the barber to get Lil'Beast a bit less shaggy, during which we did nails and I introduced her to Invader Zim, which she loved. Part of me sorta hopes she sang the Doom song all the way home... nah, I'm not that mean, lol. Well, okay, I am, but I don't dislike her mother THAT much, if at all.

After the boys came home, cell23 helped them put together their Christmas present from his mother, which was a giant cardboard rocket ship. When I say giant, I mean this thing is easily the size of a fridge and takes up most of the floor space in their room. The rest of the afternoon/evening was me overhearing them playing in it, and Lil'Beast at one point yelling "Get offa my X-Wing, you kitty alien! I need to find a potty on this alien planet!" Yeah, there are some times where you shake your head and just carry on like nothing off the wall is happening, nope.

My evening closed first with watching the beginning of the Golden Globes, and then the Thirteenth legion plus thedavin showed up for Rome, and we finished up the first season. A somewhat grim close to the day, lol, but cell23 just took the edge off of that by asking me if I could get really mad at him tonight so he could sleep in the cardboard rocket. He was only mostly kidding. I can't even with him sometimes, lol.

I was gonna stay up and finish my bead row, but it has been a hella busy day and my brain is full of weasels. Methinks sleep may shut them up, at least temporarily. :P
