Sitting a spell before I have to jump back up, feed the beasts, then run around the house hiding Valentines clues and candy for the kiddoes, who are on their way out here, as Rver's a wee bit broken and we couldn't make the run out tonight. :P They like scavenger hunts, so I came up with one last minute this morning because last night Lil'Beast asked me point blank if I'd gotten him any Valentines right after saying I LOVE YOU and I went, well crap. But they love scavenger hunts, and the candy is all 1/2 off today, so for something quick I think it will be awesome.
But yeah, since Drew and I already mutually agreed to disregard the holiday and last night was consumed with car related stress anyway, my V-day was nothing special, and I'm okay with that. Tonight there will be cheap candy, cheap chicken (Cause it's Friday!) and kiddoes tearing through the house looking for every shred of chocolate I may have hidden, so I think I'll be okay. :)
Other than that, this week was pretty damned uneventful, as shown by the copious amount of posting I've done. Work, home, sleep, beads, make dinner, cuddle the husband, yell at the cats, watch stuff on the TVs/computers, rinse, lather, repeat. My one complaint about it is that now that all the snow we got last weekend in melting, my world is coated in a horrific layer of thick, boot-sucking mud. I hate mud. I hate it... so much...
Oh also! Since this is a Big Deal, for the first time in like, a decade, I have real, legit checks that have my correct name and address on them. Seriously, I can't remember when the last time THAT happened was. Even better, they're purple and have my arbt logo on them, so not only are they correct, they are SICK as well. Hey if you gotta pay bills, the checks might as well be pretty, right?
All right, I've sat long enough. I've got a house to clean and candy to hide.
