1) woke up to being used as luxurious kitty throne by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
aersi and verbena76's big love of a dumb fuzzy black cat. Mornings should all start that way.
2) spent most of today playing with Kidzilla and the Little Man. I rather like playing Dinosaurs - I get to be the T-Rex and get my stomp stomp stomp raaaaaaaawr on. Also the Little Man has the best dimples and the most infectious giggle evar - I could seriously spend all day making him laugh.
3) So you know how I have a "nonconsensual wildlife" tag? Today warrants a "nonconsensual parents" tag. Let's just say I metcell23's this evening. No worries, it went well, but I think both I and his mom wanted to kill him for lack of heads up (he just kinda drove me over there). He's been duly punished for it though, so it's all good. We'll ignore that he did turn out to be right in how to get that particular meeting over with, but I'm still going to have my self-conscious BAP moment about how I was wearing just about the last thing I'd want to meet anyone's parents in and thanking all that's holy that I at least had freshly shaved armpits. Yes I was having a girl moment, shut up. At least there were ridiculously cute kitties to play with over there. Oh look distraction, yay!
Seriously though... dodgy methodology notwithstanding, there's a rather large bit of me that's both relieved that this went well and that it's over with, and also... gods. Y'all just don't know how nice it is not to feel like someone's dirty little secret anymore...Â
