I've decided my newest exclamation of surprise is going to be "Great Flying Red Kangaroos of Europa!" Yep, we were playing Adventure again.
There kinda is nothing better than sharing something you were crazy about as a kid with a new set of little'uns. To keep the two of them amused while cell23 made us dinner, I punched up some Wile E Coyote and Road Runner cartoons on my iPod via youtube. It became pretty apparent that neither of them had seen old Road Runner cartoons before then, and they absolutely loved them. Lizzy especially was giggling madly through all of them. Course seeing since I was a kid myself last I watched these shorts, i think i was struck anew by a) the fair amount of cartoon logic violence b) my own confusion regarding ACME's ability to stay in business despite what must be abysmal consumer reports on their products.

Also I'm going to have "The Merry Go Round Broke Down" stuck firmly in my head for the rest of the night.
