I don't generally get affected by horror movies. Pretty desensitized to gore, lol. That said, The Ring actually freaked me out to the point of unplugging every single TV and monitor in the house when I returned home after seeing it. It did not help that six month later after watching it again on VHS the phone rang during the closing credits. Thankfully the person on the other end wasn't a psycho little girl but a friend who was incredibly amused once the situation was explained to her.
I haven't seen it since. I'm sure I'd enjoy it if I did but... eeeeegh.
Oh, also?It's not technically a movie, but IT. Man if Tim Curry hadn't done Rocky Horror, Annie and The Worst Witch, I'd be petrified of him even out of clown makeup. Thankfully the other three balance that shit out.
