• Sat, 15:20: 3 hours of frenzied chopping, blanching, washing and seasoning later... *whew*
• Sat, 15:21: so far we have something that will be tomato sauce in the crock pot, where it will smell maddeningly fantastic for the next 12 hours or so.
• Sat, 15:21: we also have a bowl of most of the split pea soup ingredients waiting for the crock pot to free up. That will cook all day tomorrow.
• Sat, 15:23: OJ chicken for tonight is marinating in the fridge until cookin' time. People not being scary fairies tonight are still welcome for dinner.
• Sat, 15:24: MEANWHILE: I have a few large farmers market tomatoes, most of a bottle of cheap burgundy wine, and about 1.5 cup of chopped carrot greens.
• Sat, 15:25: anyone want/can use?
• Sat, 16:54: Really need to get on dragging @cell23 to NY... *nefarious planning*
• Sat, 16:58: Also tonight's #doctorwho has kinda broken my head in several directions...
• Sat, 18:12: guys, you can smell this sauce from OUTSIDE of my house. #canyouSMELLwhattheNEGRESSiscookin #whyyesyoucan
• Sat, 21:10: The seriously bad thing about being a Smith Alum - having copies of the SAQ follow you wherever you go for the rest of your life. *recycles*
• Sat, 21:11: Seriously, the only thing I ever look at in there is to see who died, spawned, married, divorced, climbed a mountain or divorced.
• Sun, 00:19: Back from a late evening trip to the diner with @manditorysocial and @cell23. So about those greek coffee frappes... #icanseeforever
• Sun, 00:20: Sauce still doing its thing 10 hours later. Smells like italian heaven up in my house.
• Sun, 00:25: Paging through the Pyramid collection catalog. A little shaken because i just realized i'm no longer a Goddess size. #wtfsizeM #notokay
• Sun, 02:49: the weird thing about late night caffeine consumption: it doesn't stop me from going to sleep, but after an hour or so i wake up _wired_.
• Sun, 02:50: Which is ok, i've still got sauce to babysit. #hour13
• Sun, 10:28: sauce is out of the crockpot and cooling in containers. Total cook time: 17h. Smells amazing tastes pretty awesome. Not bad for a first try.
• Sun, 10:29: Next up: split pea soup.
• Sun, 10:31: I wonder if you can order Sharpies in bulk... Though NEGL, if you can, I'd probably find some way of swimming in them Scrooge McDuck style.

• Sun, 11:47: TIL that Married... With Children was co-created by a black guy.
