So. Apparently when you get 14ish inches of freak wet heavy snow and there are still leaves on the trees? yeah, that's bad, because said trees break, fall on power lines, cars, houses, transformers, and all kinds of bullshit.

Me and mine are all okay, as are our cars. Sunderland is still without power, as is a lot of the region. I'm at work, not for any sort of positive work ethic, but because sitting around a cold-ass house with no internet is boring as shit to the point where last night I went over to Atramoria with everyone else and listened as they played through a World of Darkness one shot scenario of seven friends from Squire Village escaping a zombie apocalypse to Canada. I think this is why I had seriously weird dreams last night. I also got my hair yarned up in wine red. Figured an extra layer of acrylic worsted tied to my head couldn't hurt if it keeps acting like December a month early.

I have pictures of the tree damage just in our complex; in the entire area, there are entire trees and branches down everywhere. 9 out of 10 trees have some kind of pale wood wound exposed, it's crazy.

Anyway real, non-weather related post at some point. :P

After reading about how Chicago is going to get the worst winter weather this season (which meteorologists claimed is going to start in November) and then seeing what happened on the East Coast this week, I'm getting the feeling that things are going to be rough this winter. Good thing I have a large supply of books and yarn for knitting/crocheting. I have a feeling that my ass will be staying inside a lot this winter.
