Ohhhhh, gods. Not used to walking around New York anymore, my butt and back hurts, lol.
Anyway things
cell23 and I saw/did today:
30Rock. Sadly, no Tracy Morgan ripping off his shirt and spouting hate. Lots of wind though, and people that can't skate worth crap.
LEGO store. Is it possible to get drunk off LEGOs? cause I kinda did. I didn't buy anything but it was a very near thing.
American Girl Place. I'd actually never been there before and
cell23 was all like "sure fine, I'll let you know when I need to get out of there and rub some football on myself" so... wow. That place is something. three floors of just nothing but DOLLS. And this admittedly frightening smell on the third floor that neither
cell23 nor I could describe as anything other than "pink."
Was gonna go to the Nintendo store but experiencing two retail zoos in rapid succession was a wee bit much.
So back on the train, played with Reach NY a little bit transferring to the R at 34th street, and stopped to check out OWS. Not sure what I want to say about that - there were aspects of it that were interesting, some I applaud, some of it was eyerolly. About what I expected. More interesting was checking out the progress of the freedom tower, etc across the street at Ground Zero.
Back up to Union Square for Cat Stuff. Walked through the Farmer's market - super hard not to buy ALL THE CIDER. One of our Assignments from Dad is to clip Moonbeam's claws so we needed clippers and bribes. Except Moonbeam doesn't get what kitty treats are. Hmm.
Home now, clowning Dad's PA for rearranging furniture a few weeks back in a fit of adrenaline fuelled paranoia and teasing Dad because he has a Date tomorrow. Legs sore, feels later than 7:30, wth.
So far, so good. No idea what we're doing tomorrow though. We'll need to brainstorm a plan.
ETA: forgot to note that Manhattan still has the best hot pretzels on earth. End of story. Nom.
