cell23: So my cousin B and his sister K... you remember K, right?
Kidzilla: No?
Me: Yeah you do, she tried to dunk you into an ice bucket at that one party.
Kidzilla: Oh. [makes face] Yeah.
cell23: Yeah she's kind of a pain. Anyway they were about you guys' age and one day they were playing, and B swung a door shut real fast, and K's thumb was still in the way. It didn't come off exactly, but it did pop the joint out and they thought she might have to lose the thumb. Luckily she didn't have to. And THAT is why I don't want you two playing with doors.
Me: Of course, if she didn't have a thumb, she wouldn't be dunking anyone into ice buckets...
Kidzilla: Yeah!
