Today i:
...rode the Red line for the first time
...reestablished that boats, a fair amount of open water and I still don't get along. Get me more than 200 feet from shore in any direction and I become VERY uncomfortable.
...visited one of the islands in the Bay for the first time.
...climbed and hung out in a tree for the first time in more than a decade. (In a dress, to boot!)
...now have a leaf shaped cut on my hand from stabbing myself on said tree.
...realized that whatever my level of dissatisfaction is with my own level of Responsible Adulthood, compared to some I am doing JUST FUCKING FINE.
...got stuck on a the same ferry (NOPE) during a nasty lightning,thunder and wind-squall (NOPE) filled to max capacity (NOPE) due to an attempt to beat the storm out that failed.
...learned that that many NOPE situations cancel themselves into absurdity and inner calm.
All of this while attending my fiancé's ex-wife's wedding.
Yeah. It's been a day.
