289. What's the most incredible experience you ever had?
It's not a good experience, but I'm still boggled by that week and a half in the hospital after InstestineSplode 2008. The amount of drugs they hop you up on after majorly messing with your innards plus all the weird tubes and shit you get hooked up to makes for a whole lot of surreal. And you end up with a greater appreciation for Frieda Kahlo's artwork. Morphine is a hell of a drug.

Depends on what it is. There are filters for that sort of thing usually. And when even the filters are too visible, the locked up tight journal.

A few here and there. I enjoyed Soylent Green, and Ben Hur and the Ten Commandments, but admittedly that last one I was more here for all the Yul Brynner. That man was made of sexy bald, or maybe just bald sex. May have also kindled my Russophilia.

Not according to OKCupid. My profile has had the word "Brutal" attached to it for years now which is funny because when I first took the test a decade ago (yes, I've had an account that long, bite me) I scored The Peach.

I had a pleasant, if frustratingly unproductive day off - my ambition was the get the house cleaned, but all I managed was picking up our room, the laundry, running through two loads in the dishwasher, returning all the deposit bottles and making a rather delicious dinner for
cell23 and I. I also went to lunch with grinninfoole, which is always pleasant; I enjoy our "so... where are you on that whole road to self-improvement?" checkpoints over food.Okay when you write it out today wasn't so much the Day of Ignoble Sloth, but it certainly felt like it. And I'm kinda mad I missed ALL the inauguration coverage, but that's what The Internet and youtube are for.
Back to the insurance salt mines tomorrow, whee.
