Oh Ron Swanson. How I love you. Which is funny because if I knew you in real life you'd kind of get on my nerves? except when I wanted to hang out in your wood shop or have a quiet wordless steak. Then we'd be BFFS.

The husband teased me a little for misting up at tonight's Parks & Rec. I know where he sleeps.

Community continues to hit or miss. There were parts of this show that were cute (Jeff's Bow Before... oh crap what was the villains name? bit, Annie's... well, everything) actually damn funny (the focus group and its horrifying aftermath) and headdesk-worthy (no no no no no on the whole neurotypicals speech DONT BE TBBT OR I WILL CUT YOU). Figure it out guys. Grrr. There is still enough that's still working about it that gives me hope that it can refind its footing and continue being awesome? but there so much flailing in the meantime. Ugh.

Community. WTF IS HAPPENING? Thoraxis did crack me up at the very tippy end though. Oh - and that 80's house in the "Halloween" episode? SO STRANGE.

OMG. Ron Swanson. Okay, my nose is giving me a hard time just posting this comment, my eyes are acting allergic. ALLERGIES NOT TEARS!

I got all teary at the Parks & Rec wedding as well. :) I am so invested in those characters, and I suspect the writers of that show are, too. There is so much genuine affection in the script.

Jeff ripping off his shirt and intoning "Bow down before Thoraxis!" was the best part of the whole thing. I kept expecting there to be some resolution of the female Inspector Minerva plot, but nothing came of it. I feel like right now, the show's panicking a little, and yeah, I'd like less flailing. Not sure where this is going.
