Obligatory bottom-of-Sunday bitching about where my weekend went. I mean on one hand, it was nice to be busy, I socialized, I got a few things done here and there, there was lots and lots of bonus time spent with the kids, but I'm dead tired right now and I've got to go back to work in the morning. Course, a minor bit of my current cranky is uterine splode (Angry Uterus & the Ovarian Players present Stephen King's Carrie: The Musical. Call now for tickets!) and that scratchy tickle at the back of my throat that says "YOU'VE WON A SICK! YAY." ...No.

Eh, I shouldn't complain too hard. I had a good bell performance this morning, had a strangely pleasant evening out and overnight visit yesterday with both the kids and their mother that involved Chinese buffet, Doctor Who and after bedtime, booze, made it down to N'hamp to play Dune, got a bit done with the beading, read some... yeah. It was by all accounts a good weekend. I just wish I had one more day of it to spend sleeping or chilling out or just not being bothered about shit. I'm just kinda... that burnt around the edges. I'm toying with the idea of calling out so I can head whatever the sore throat is heralding off at the pass, but I've been hoarding my personal time against impending Family Things. Oh well. This week I start later in the morning, hopefully that'll help some with the constant tired. Also see the possibility of taking tomorrow and chilling. I mean honestly I won't be doing much different than what I do every night, Pinky, but it's different when you give yourself permission to relax and recuperate as opposed to doing so and mentally berating yourself for it the whole time.
