I really need a tripod or monopod or something that will keep the damn camera still enough to take a low light picture without using the flash. I fucking hate camera flashes. This has been a super frustrating night for pictures, I tell ya.

aersi's Christmas tree (yes, it's still up) while I was over there, specifically of the peacock nesting in it.
You wouldn't think it would come out fantastic in black and white, but there you go. But yeah, the rest of the roll was a wash, alas. Oh well, I have ideas for later.
Karaoke was fun despite witnessing the horror that was a bar regular singing "Candyman" (the one from Willy Wonka) accompanying enough exaggerated hip thrusting to make Elvis and Michael Jackson blush. This was not helped by verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry tight skinny jeans. The thrusting Area was traumatically mesmerizing. But that was balanced withaersi, avalon616 and I ending our night by all getting up on stage to sing "Pokerface", which was awesome. Apparently next week is White Trash Wednesday... O_o what does a black girl wear to that sort of theme night? I figure I'll either go as Slash (I have the top hat and I'll probably have the fro to go with it by then) or Lafayette from True Blood. Or just fat ho it up, who knows. But I'm going to be getting my mary chapin carpenter on, thank you.
Also goddamn it, someday I will be in shape to dance the entire length of "Cotton Eyed Joe" without collapsing in an asthmatic spasmy heap...
Oh also? I bought a brush. Sevs sells em for 2 dollars, who knew?
