Squee's new screen arrived today, but midway through the transplant I was roadblocked by screws too tiny to be legal in any way, let alone for any screwdriver I had on hand. Needless to say I found this very frustrating:

I wish there was a way to crosspost easily from Instagram to here. Before that became a Thing I was rabid about posting random photos to my journal from my phone or my camera or whatever but now, like everything else currently handled by facebook or twitter or whatever Thing currently fragmenting social media now it's kinda fallen by the wayside. Bah.

Longer post and a bead count when my house is no longer beset by gamer nerds.

ETA: after borrowing a weensy tech screwdriver from

omgwtfaninja, surgery successfully completed. No more ugly splorch obstructing the screen! Rather ridiculously proud of myself, both for finding the replacement for reasonably cheap and for switching it out myself. And now to keep the netbook off the living room floor lest a couch get dropped on it again...
