I've heard a few arguments that this video was super derivative and in certain aspects I agree. This sort of mashup of homages would be edgy for another artist but for Gaga you expect her to go super outside the box and burn it down behind her while she runs away into the land of Spikey giggling. Still, it's a very fun watch, especially when Beyonce joins the party.

Also, I couldn't help squeeing a little at their bright yellow obnoxiously named co-star.

I'm just....*Looks left, looks right--expects fire and pitchforks,* not a Gaga fan at all.

I've seen video of her before she became this Lady Gaga persona. Didn't wear makeup and sang on a small stage while playing piano; fanstic and I loved it.

Unfortunately, I think she sold herself out to become a cashcow. I don't think the music industry needs a crazier Brittany Spears with weird/controversial outfits and outlandish behavior with *shocking* video and techno beats with UNF UNF UNF TISS UNF repetition.
