If I must suffer so must you all
Mar. 16th, 2011 11:36 amThere is nothing shocking or offensive or horrible about this video like my usual "if I must suffer" or "no comment" youtube posts. My problem is that it's so... fucking... stupid. Like seriously, they need to fire the lyricist. Whoever they are has no sense of rhythm, meter or meaningful content and then they made this poor girl sing it into a vocoder. WHAT THE FUCK BRAINSPLODE.
Which sucks cause the song itself is fucking catchy and is now firmly stuck in my head. GRRR ARGH. I kinda just want the backing instrumental so I can superimpose a whole other vocal track on top of it. Or better yet gangsta rap a la Girl Talk. But as is? AAAAAAAAAGH DELIVER ME FROM AUTOTUNED TEENAGE HELL.
Aside from contending with this aural dreck, I'm splitting my time between Buffy, work, fighting with Bryce 5 and some tomb terrain and hunting for new eggs on Dragcave. How's your day been so far?

And kidzilla's too, since I'm pretty sure once she hears about them she's gonna want to hustle up and grow up the ones she has:
Also, we finished The Return of Mr. Monster in Geist last night. I really like our geist group when we manage to meet; we've been kinda cursed all winter in terms of getting together for game, so we've only had like four game sessions since December. Still, it's fun stuff, now that I'm comfy within the game and its rules. Gonna tweak my character some more before the real game begins, but so far I think I've got a pretty good concept going.
Since I'm out of Law and Order episodes, I've fully jumped to watching Buffy episodes during the workday, as they're easy to follow without staring directly at the screen. Also I've seen them before so I don't have to 100% pay attention. Still, enjoying it immensely. Up to mid season 3 right now.
It's brightening up some out there, so maybe there's some hope for the rest of the day.
