OCTOBER BITCHES

OCTOBER. We all know what this month means to me, and I'm making it even more exciting by getting married in it. Wheeee.

There have been THINGS happening the last few days but I've been too horrifically tired and busy and stressed to write about them, but just so I remember for later, Friday was my last day at the Computer Store (sniffle) Saturday we took the kids to the Big E (overrated and stressful) and then aersi threw me a bachelorette slumber party (much more fun) and today cell23 and I took the kids to see the East Side Tatros so he and I could work out the ceremony with aliwings. It's going to be short and sweet and... yeah, who am I kidding I'm gonna bawl like a lactose intolerent baby on formula.

Meantime I've been doing wedding related crafting and warcracking like a beast. I'm gonna be so thankfully bored next week.

Its starting to hit me that by this time next week it'll all be over and done with and then cell23 and I'll be legally stuck with each other. I am remarkably okay about this.

In other news, dear gods it is getting pretty as all hell around here. Oh Fall in New England, how I love you.

Tromping around wearing boots. Like Gaston.

So instead of girly wedding shoes, I indeed, managed to score a pair of Frye boots. These, specifically. And they are even more gorgeous and amazing on my feet as they are in the picture.

Thing is they require a little breaking in, so I've been wearing them as I try to work through my various to do lists (and sadly getting derailed quite frequently by various things). Of course, this has wedged "Gaston" from Beauty and the Beast rather firmly in my head.

Random Andee trivia: I also have been known to sing this in the shower. With the appropriate amount of gusto at the line about being roughly the size of a barge.
