I'm watching the leopard cub cam on the second monitor while I work today. I don't what it is about watching young things attempt to get the hang of walking that is made of squee and adorable, but it is, even if it's something that will grow up and think nothing about eating you if it got hungry enough. Right now now they're these roly-poly spotted balls of floofy pawed pointy tailed fuzz that more wobble than walk and even when they fall over it's cute.

And yes, I get the same way over kids at that stage. Hell, the Lovebug still has toddler run and it's cute as hell. Especially since he's old enough to not really get hurt when he falls over.

Alas, yes. And there's a mamacat walkin' around looking MUCH fatter than she ought, too. Two kittens are leaving tomorrow, but that still leaves us outnumbered significantly.

I may well still have an excess at that point. Or will be willing to tolerate an excess that long, if I know they'll then be going somewhere good. How many do you want, and what sexes? :)

They all get call-names for as long as they're with us, so it's not "the black one over there!" Since we mostly operate on a theme of black or gray, with a few outliers here and there. War and Death (who will likely get new names in the transaction) will be leaving us tomorrow. The littlest littles, collectively known as the "deedles" or the "teenies," as all the still-blue-eyed kittens always are, do not yet have call-names.
