[Scene: 7:15am at The Great Race War, our bedroom. Enter LOVEBUG]
LOVEBUG [to
cell23]: Can I play Thomas on your computer?
cell23 [groggy]: Kidzilla's still asleep, maybe when she wakes up, okay, buddy?
[LOVEBUG thinks about this for a minute, then smiles and exits. Thirty seconds later...]
LOVEBUG [offstage, at maximum volume]: WAKE UP 'ZILLA!!!
ME: ... *snrrrrrrrrrk*
So this is what I'd been missing in the morning.
I'm still a bit sore in a few places and my ankles are still a wee bit pffy, but I seem to be recovered from week of OMG PUT AWAY ALL THE THINGS. It is also cold and delicious this morning and was last night too - I needed a comforter and a snuggly
cell23, which is about how I like it. Fall, she comes.
I promised Kidzilla if she was super good yesterday we'd watch James and the Giant Peach before her bedtime, and she was. (Lovebug, conversely, was a bit of a tantrum bear yesterday, but like I said to
aersi last night it's tough being three. It's pretty much your worst day at work every day, where you're just trying to do your thing and your bosses are on you every other minute telling you you're doing something bad or wrong and that you're not allowed to do X or Y when X or Y looks like the most fun thing ever.) I'd always meant to see that movie and never got around to it, and Kidzilla hadn't seen it either, and it actually turned out to be pretty good. Kidzilla liked it so much that she got up and did this insane jumping around the room dance to the end credit music. Someone needs to introduce this kid to House of Pain, lol. Though there was a squee moment when
cell23, caught up in her infectious delight got up and danced with her... d'awww.
This heartwarming moment brought to you by Netflix for Wii.
Oh hey, does anyone have a copy of Super Divorce Bros I can borrow? I keep meaning to play that and I've never gotten around to getting my hands on a copy. Also watching
cell23 play LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is apparently high entertainment for Andees and for short stacks, lol.
Today: have to sneak down to Hadley for a little birthday shopping for the fuzzy blonde in my icon, throw some gas in Hanzo-san, and then later apparently all of us are headed off to a picnic type thing... And maybe since i feel better I'll finally get the T-shirts off the floor? Maybe? lol.
