I just want to say that I love when Dad sits me down and grills me about various tech companies. It usually means he's looking to expand his investment portfolio. However it also means I get to tell him about things I'm interested in.

Today the company in question is Activision Blizzard, Inc. Think about that one for a minute. Then think about me trying to impress upon Dad that the equivelant of the entire population of New York City plays WoW.

I think he's buying Blizzstock as we speak.

They're also putting out 2 blockbuster games at the end of the year. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and another that is certain to be a chart topper. (although I forget the name)

The other game is "Starcraft 2", sequel to one of the most popular strategy games of all time.

Unfortunately, it just was announced that the game has been delayed 'til 2010. While this has caused wailing and gnashing of teeth, it's not as if the fans are going to swear off the game because of the delay.

Especially after patch, they just made it like 10 times easier.

yeah I saw... riding at level 20, ye gods. I am speechless. Do you know how much easier running around Ashenvale would have been with that???

I did say I'd resub after I move, so you'll probably see me late sep-early Oct. Probably rolling something new from scratch tho.

nevermind, recruit a friend is wicked tricky, and you can't get the mount until you purchase like..3 months, now I'm not sure if that's all at once or over time, but it's a pain in the arse.

It is a pain. I got locke61dv to do refer a friend with me and he had to buy a new game serial.( I think he is using the 10 day trial, to start over.)

The free mount is only usable at level 40 and after they pay for 60 days. With the sped up leveling, I'll be 60 before I get the free mount.

Gaming industry sales figures have been kinda in the dumps lately. I guess WoW shields the company pretty well from that, though.

Also, my company stock has been very good to me so far.
