Update on dad - he's out of bed, has been cajoled into eating a fair amount of breakfast, and one of his lady friends called and he had a completely normal sounding conversation with her, much to my amusement. I remarked later that he needs to have his girlfriends call more often; thats the best i'd heard him sound all week. He cracked an entirely too pleased with himself grin in response. Yeah i think he's gonna be okay. *rolleyes*
