OMG what a day. I am alive... but tired. So very tired. I think this will officially be my driving icon as opposed to my burst of random icon. Yes.

Anyway lessee, I haven't really stopped moving since about 11am... maybe earlier. I got four hours of sleep, packed up all my crap for the weekend and then did my laundry, cause extreme heat plus humid equals going through two outfits a day = andee has no underwear. After that it was just running around all over today and getting hopelessly lost at least three times. Note to self - driving in Lowell sucks and I shouldn't do it unless I know where the hell I'm going. Sooooo maaaaany aaaaassholes....

Still even though I'm tired as hell and sore and glad to not be on the road anymore, I can't say it was a bad day, cause it wasn't other than one near-tears moment right before I took [livejournal.com profile] chirping_monkey eastward. I got to catch up with her and later on with [livejournal.com profile] inle_rah, so that was fun and well worth the driving and the lost, lol.

So in related news, as I was sitting at [livejournal.com profile] chirping_monkey's for a few moments I picked up my email for the day and got a message from Nuke regarding the land barge... she's worried it might not be sound enough for the amount of driving I'll need to do with it and she doesn't want all my money sunk into keeping it as roadworthy. Long story short, I'm getting treated to a new-to-me car. OMGOMGOMGOMGASAFJKJSDLHKAHSDAKJHOMG. So... I get to go car shopping. Suggestions?

I am at [livejournal.com profile] inle_rah's, thoroughly loving the fact that she's near a train line and being loved on by cats I haven't seen in a few years, watching Project Runway. I'm also full of rare dead thing, as the bunny treated me to dinner at the 99, and also seemed to like "watching you enjoy your meat." Which is an incredibly wrong thing for someone to say to you, because you will snort steak juice out of your nose.

I am so damn tired. I need to fall the heck over and be lulled to sleep by the fabulousness of Tim Gunn. Tomorrow: more running around and being all wow about prospect of getting to pick out a car.

Be good, Internet.

Congrats! Car-wise, I've nothing but good things to say about my 2007 Civic. About the only thing it can't do is climb steep hills in heavy snow (my old Subaru's 4WD spoiled me rotten in that respect), but other than that it rocks. Fits me, gets over 30 mpg, has an audio in for my iPod, and the only problem it has developed over the 34k miles I've put on it so far was desynched windshield wipers (which got fixed for free at the dealership).

Any toyota... I've been happy with both corollas that I've had. Pretty much all of their cars have really good long term reliability ratings though.

Second on the Toyota. 155000+ miles on mine so far, haven't had too many repairs, and it gets good mileage. Also, Consumer Reports has been pretty useful in past car shopping.
