Another day of living (hopefully not dying) at the whim of the almighty to-do list. Not complaining too too hard as I actually managed to get a lot done yesterday. Granted a lot of that was pique at not being able to do the laundry until

cell23 came home, owing to card location fail. But even ragecleaning aside, it was a good focus day. Having a partially clean house is good. :)

Geist last night was quite enjoyable. I'm getting a handle on the game now, but also I love

verbena76's group and our tendency to wander off into cracked NC17 banter mid-scene - was kinda mad I didn't have my ipod with me so I could note down all the quotable shit flying around. Good times, hopefully no more Tuesday night blizzards will keep us from convening for a while.

Lily Lithanua* continues to settle in. She has definitely gotten much less skittish and much more, well, I have no other word for the combination of cute, fluffy, sharp, playful, dickish and the disregard for hoo-mon schedules, possessions, dinner etiquette and lap space other than "cat-like." I've been told by

cell23 that she likes to sit down on my hip and go to sleep in the middle of the night, since I tend to be a side sleeper. She actually demonstrated this last night when I was laying down on the couch before Geist yesterday, and it is cute as all hell. So far not a big lap cat, though she will briefly jump up and accept pettins before popping off to explore something else. I like having her around; makes the house seem a little less empty without the kiddos and and the Manbeast during the day. Also I get bonus entertainment when he comes home because he will play with her for like 45 minutes on end and it's hilarious.

Well. Off to conquer my day. Bells later, whoo!

* yeah we don't know either, Kidzilla pulled that one out of her butt the other day. As predicted, it doesn't matter; we've defaulted to calling her "dickbutt."
