I'm at the office! I pretty much decided that if I'm going to hang onto the car until tomorrow, there was no point in letting it sit in
cell23's driveway while I'm paying for it, so to work I went. I missed my Hess trucks so that was a good choice.
I don't know, it being Monday it feels like I have a whole slew of new things to worry about... work of course. Doc tomorrow. Am probably going back to NY Wednesday morning, which is a little bit le sad, but it's not like I won't be back up this weekend for moving and *gasp* car shopping. I have no idea how to even start THAT whole project - can anyone give me an idea on what I have to do beforehand insurancewise? crap, I keep forgetting to buy a triple A membership... *whine* being a grown-up is HARD. This move still doesn't seem real yet.
Back to trying not to eat like crap... which means black coffee and salad. About to walk down to the Stop and Shop salad bar actually. Actually rather looking forward to borrowing Cara's dumbells so I can restart working on putting some muscle back in my arms. Course, hauling both hers and my crap into new place ought to help. :) I also need to figure out what I need to be taking again supplement-wise - I have a nasty suspicion that a good part of why some of my health and headspace went wonky is because I went off of various things when I moved down to NY. If anything I need back on the iron and calcium at the very least... maybe the vitamin E because my skin got awful pretty when I was on it.
My head's in weird emotional space, but for once it's good weird as opposed to bad weird. Well, mostly. We'll see how it all processes out and what I manage to get done. Vacation's over... back to life, back to reality... :)

Insurance: when you're ready to begin srs car shopping, give 'em a call and tell them so, and they'll set you up. In Texas, anyway, you have to have insurance before you can drive a car off the lot.

Date: 2009-08-24 05:16 pm (UTC)From:Also, AAA coverage is anything but mandatory. If you know how to change a tire, jump start a car, and have a friend you can call to pick you up in case of emergency, they're a waste of money, IMHO. So far I've been driving for 14 years, and have yet to regret never getting AAA.
