• I'm in MA, so far in one piece. I say so far because me and this week's car seem to agree that we're frenemies.
  
  
• Toyota Yaris - much more fun in the commercials than in real life, sad to say. It's an economy car, full stop. And WTF. I read that the trend is shifting to central consoles, but WE DO NOT LIKES IT. I'm not okay with having to turn my head to see how fast I'm going. And where the hell is the tachometer??? At least it handles well and comes with a pretty good stereo, which I'm finding more and more is a requirement to keep the OH GOD I'M GOING TO DIE AND I'M GOING TO TAKE THAT GUARDRAIL AND POSSIBLY THAT TREE AND DEFINITELY THAT CAR OVER THERE WITH ME feeling at bay. Oh, how do I love thee iTrip, let me count the ways.
  
  
• Feeling a bit better in the emotional department. It's amazing what 45 minutes of curling up on a couch draped all over someone who clearly missed you and has no problem being a human pillow will do for the psyche.
  
  
• not so great in the wallets, but I knew that was going to happen and am treating it with patient exasperation. Should be fixed on Friday but still, arg. Not touching the emergency account, I can really survive three days without it. (also another point for the Yaris, it came with a more than half full tank and I haven't even dented it yet.)
  
  
• swung by the storage unit yesterday afternoon. Everything's fine so the nightmare I had a couple weeks back about everything being covered with the hanging gardens of mold was totally unfounded. (However, it's a good thing I have no major issues with spiders - there are a few that are happily camping out in my bedframe and side table.) I also have more summer clothes now! it's nice to see my tank tops and shorts again, let me tell ya - not that I've really needed them... how is it mid-July and we haven't hit a truly nasty heat wave yet? Not that I'm complaining, but it's still weird.
  
  
• everyone loves the hair. YAY.
  
  
• I got some piratey stuff out of storage for Haven tonight but I'm still on the fence about going. We'll see. Maybe if Cara or someone else wants to...? Dunno yet.
  
  
• Still hate the Pike. D: Need to figure out that whoe getting off of 91 at that 202 exit thing, cause this here be bullshit.
  
  
• OMGWORK. D: I should get back to it, actually.

I still have no idea what to wear to Pirate Night but Marie bought a whole new outfit so I guess I'm going! Dunno if I'll stay for a long time (stupid Wednesday morning shift) but my offer of a drink still stands. :x)

hmm. I'm leaning towards punking out, as I have my own schmoo to do early tomorrow, but if you're going maybe we could carpool or something considering I'm just over at Lantern. ('course fair warning, my driving is the level of terrifying expected of someone that's only been licensed for three months and actually driving for a third of that.)
