So apparently they've awarded Obama the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

...because they apparently are fresh out of the Nobel Thank-You-Thank-You-Thank-You-For-Not-Being-George-Bush-And-Actually-Having-You-Know-A-Brain-And-Stuff-Here-Have-A-Medal Prizes?

I'm not knocking Barawk Star, I wiould throw my panties at him in a heartbeat and cheerfully accept the beating I would get in return from the Secret Service and Michelle for the cheekiness (unless I wear two pairs and throw one at her too...) but the man's been in office nine months... sheesh, people.

That said, congratulations, Mr. President. I'm pretty sure he's going to accept the award and use the honor to galvanize his further efforts... especially since you know he and MiMi are in a private room somewhere with the listening devices off going "WTF!!! WHAT ARE THEY THINKING!!!?" "I don't know but I've always wanted to bang a Nobel Prize winner, c'mere sexy." *unnf unnf unnf*

That's the official reasoning anyway. I'm pretty sure the real reason is Europe humping Obama's legs. Not that I disapprove. Those are eminently humpable legs.

Considering that it's been awarded to Kissinger and Arafat in the past, I wouldn't put too much stock by it. Then again, Obama doesn't strike me as the sort of person who would need coaxing in the first place.

Yeah... I have a sad sneaking suspicion that Obama has actually won the "OMG you got Americans to show that they aren't as insanely racist as we all thought they were-- congrats on being USA's first Black president and not having gotten shot yet" prize.
