That said, it wasn't all bad. Things that were good about it:

Slept in until noon in Bed of Squooshy. With company. :)

Played dress-up today! I pretty much dragged out Haven Clothes... pulled out the makeup and jewelry too. All the years I've had three holes in my ears, today was the first time I tried wearing three pairs of dangly earrings at a time. Was interesting... and oddly distracting. Not quite as distracting as my own cleavage today tho. Daaaaaamn, if I do say so myself.

Did some pre-party errands with

cell23... which involved going to Atkins Farms, which is always a horrendously good idea. Brought home much delicious desert... dear gods, their cream cheese frosting... *swoon* Did NOT leave with cider donuts, seeing as we're going to be up to our eyeballs in them tomorrow, but the hot cider was perfect on a rainy dreary day.

Stops were also made at Target and Bunns&Noodle, where I picked up the first two omnibuses of the Vorkosigan saga. Ohh, Miles, to finally have you in my hot little Vor-loving hands for my very own... nom. Also Kidzilla is getting some really good books tomorrow.

Have the big box from the unit - all that's left in there is the rug, the end table and Master Freak, who may finally be heading for the great core dump in the sky.

Time to crack open that box and see if my missing stuff is indeed inside, then time to wrap the hell out of some presents.

ETA: Camera charger yes. Case Logic, no. Hmmm, where the hell are my CDs? In other news, holy crap, my Super Nintendo! and a USB cable for my phone? oh my, we're all in trouble...
