I'm doing my never will be/never was psuedo Catholic/Christian half assed observation of Lent again this year and most of my "giving up" shit is internet related so if I seem to have vanished or am just real quiet you know why.
Things I will still be checking/logged into:
Gmail/Google Talk
Skype
Twitter (reading)
LJ
Fetlife
text messages
Everything else (mainly Facebook, AIM and Y!M) I'm offline unless it's Sunday. I've been off AIM and Yahoo since this past weekend, actually.
Generally this is a noise/distraction reduction measure in hopes that if I stop wanking myself with the Internet, I'll get other shit done. I'm just kinda appropriating Lent as a convenient excuse to do so.
