Cleaned like a fiend, did laundry, and took out the twoish weeks worth of trash and recycling, and did mad dishes and aaaaaaaaah. The floor, I can has it.
Watched WAAAAAY too much Mariska Hargitay and the panty police today. Curse you SVU marathon.
I added the last bit of why my bed is pimptastic and awesome, and no I did not cover the frame in purple leopard print glitter. But I did pull off all the sheets and put in the electric pad. So now my bed is even more of a disgustingly comfortable nest of warm squoosh that I have serious trouble getting out of. Yay.
Turned to the Emmys right as they were "interrupting" the telecast with the cast of Dr Horrible. Laughed ass off, then stayed with the rest of the telecast. Sarah McLachlan's face twitches a lot when she sings. I have this nebulous idea for some kind of award show theme party next year, for like the Oscars or something, where everyone shows up in fancy dress, I actually roll some red carpet down the driveway, and get a bunch of people with cameras to pretend to be paparazzi as people come in, whereupon afterwards we go in and play the award show driniking game and eat ourselves silly... I think some of you would actually go for that, lol. Well, keep Oscar night open for me, mwah.
Speaking of parties. SATURDAY. 7pm. MUPPET/HOUSEWARMING PARTY. There will be dark crystal, fraggles and muppet show. There will also be one of them thar facebook event things just as soon as YouTwitFace comes back from being under scheduled maintenance or some shit. :P I know the announcement's a bit last minute, but hey this is what happens when you get two space cadets in the same apartment. Cara just has a doctor's note for hers. ;) Anyway, let me know if you're coming so I know how many people I gotta feed. Bring/wear Muppety things and booze; extra super bonus if you bring over a Tickle Me Elmo we can set fire to in the driveway. ;)
(That said, anyone got a copy of the Dark Crystal on DVD I can borrow?)
