So I pulled out DDR for the first time since moving, since I'd been feeling a bit like a bloated slug lately... and noticed immediately that I was sucking at it hard. Hmm, I thought, okay, it's been a couple of months I'm out of practice. So I switched to beginner mode... and still continued to suck massively hard at it. Okay, I thought I'm not THAT out of practice, what the fuck.

So yeah, remember how the Amoeba couldn't get Rock Band to work with my TV? Same problem was happening here. Fuckcocks. Except this time I had the idea of messing with the TV audio settings... yeah. Rhythm games don't work so good with surround sound on apparently. (Gods, we were full of fail.) My scores jumped quite a bit once I turned it off. I still suck though. Need to start playing again on a regular basis.

In other news, I had a pretty fantastic weekend. Mostly chillaxing with cell23, though yesterday we went out to his mom's for her birthday. The man is terrified by how well she and I are getting along. *evil cackle* I'm personally a little terrified how much his entire family seems to like me. O_o Don't get me wrong, its a nice change, but wow.

Anyway, I'm sweaty and gross from leaping around my living room to bad techno like a meth-addled monkey. Showertime, then... not sure. May do some domestic pottering around at home. Company welcome, if you're also bored on this rainy sunday...

Digital video connection but analog audio? That messed me up for a long time as they were perpetually out of synch.
