I haven't even thought about casting Bowser off yet and I'm planning another project. Or, if not planning, at least sort of sending out feelers for another one.

(pattern)
So lets talk about this for a second. In case you're wondering it's the victory shot from the end of Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge. You know, before Dracula's castle splits in two and sinks into the swamp. Okay, it doesn't split in two, it just sinks. Though now I have this image of Dracula saying to Soleiyu "Someday, all zis vil be yours" and Soleiyu responding with "What, the curtains?"
ANYWAY.
I actually want to do at least a couple of original Game Boy screenshots at some point including this one. The other one I really want to do is the victory song and dance after you complete the top speed and height in the Tetris B game, but I haven't found it on the nets yet. Maybe also one from Skate or Die (I LOVED THAT GAME SHUT UP), something from Pokemon Red/Blue, or a shot of Mario jumping out of the Alleyway paddle.... IDK, depends on how much of a pain in the ass the one above is. Upon consideration, it might end up being a major headache, but we'll see.
The nice thing about these are that there are only four colors in them, which is less of a pain in the ass for me to handle (and when you think about it, some of these games had quite a bit of detail packed into only 4 shades to work with). The bad thing... I'm probably going to have to buy the next size up of loom to do it, considering a 160x144 image translates to about 8x10 inches in beads, which is fucking huge for a pattern, and a mite too big for the loom I've currently got. Also I'd have to get whatever four colors I need and probably the thread in bulk, cause yeah, big patterns. There's also the bit where if I wanted to stay true to the old school Nintendo spirit... that's four shades of quite frankly a rather putrid hue of chartreuse yellow, which may be the color I dislike above all others, so staring at it for extended periods of time may in fact kill my soul. And then you factor in time, and these are going to be a major bitch. It's probably going to take me a month to do one.
So yeah, looks like its going to have to be something I work up to until I build up enough to drop a fair amount of money on mats for larger scale crafting. Meantime I figured out over the course of Bowser that I've got a good amount of working room on my current loom to do change purses/card holders, which are about the perfect size to do smaller scale sprites/designs, like pokemon or koopas or the Hyrule Crest and shit.
But yeah, before I get ahead of myself, maybe I should you know, cast off Bowser and figure out what the hell to do with him.
