Couple of notes

Spent yesterday evening over at head58's and aliwings' with cell23, which was wicked fun... Man, their gang of geeks... I can totally see the squire crowd growing up to be them in five-ten years. And eeeeeeeeee, got to see emilytheslayer! You are so damn cute girl, I just want to hug you forever. :)

Went ahead and friended urnesha and telepresence too. I have someday got to introduce telepresence to masteradept and sixswordsamurai, since by turns he reminded me of both of them and I think a highlander like battle of the Big Black Geekmen needs to happen. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE... nah just kidding, lol.

Late last week I got George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings through paperbackswap since I had the credits, I wanted to see what the goddamn fuss was and it's finally been long enough that the Stacey-taint has worn off of the entire idea of reading them. Finished up A Game of Thrones last night.... okay, yeah, I can kinda see what all the panty-wetting is all about. I'm not sold on it being the second coming of Jesus in terms of fantasy or nothing, but I am engaged enough with it to want to read the rest (I do love me a big sprawling epic series - they're kinda like written soap operas), and aliwings did obligingly pack us home this morning with the remaining two doorstops books, so I should be well entertained for the next couple weeks. (What? I read fast.)

Other than that, not much new in Andee-land... still feeling a little withdrawn and headnoisey and not really inclined to post much (except for the other night's drunken capslock revelry - and the iPod autocorrection just makes that shit funnier, let me tell you), but for now I'm okay.

Also LOST finale tonight. I... don't know how to feel about that. Especially since I won't get to use this icon anymore. Le sad. Sayid is so gosh darn PRETTEH. Especially when he's killing people with breakdancing.

Off to download last night's Who and lie down. Mmm, digestive ick. :P

It was really awesome to get to hang out with you more, yay! Lynx is saying we need to get back out to the Valley soon because there's stuff he still hasn't shown me and whatever, so I'll try to let you know when we might be out there. Also glad you guys made it home today! Staying at The Keep is always a good time, since there are kitties and a General to entertain when you wake up.

Indeed. I finally got taught the fundamentals in telling Rogue and Xander apart last night, lol.

I'll personally drag you around to my own favorite haunts... not to mention if you go to Webs yarn, I'll blissfully go to Webs beads! and you know, any excuse to go to places up the road a bit, like Magic wings, Richardsons' and Overwhelmingly Stinky Candle.

Oh yeah, I actually need beads soon anyway. I'm going to be making this shawl at some point, and it calls for 5000 PRE-STRUNG BEADS which is insane, but I got a thing that will make it go faster. I haven't decided what color beads I want yet, so I'll just carry around the yarn I'm going to use until I find something awesome.

Also, telling Rogue and Xander apart used to be easier when Rogue was gigantic. Now that he's lost weight and Xander is bigger I was getting confused, but it's totally all about which side of the mouth the white patch is on.

I was informed of the ring around the tail and the shape of the face tricks last night. Also as cell23 put it "if the cat is eating? It's Xander." Which is true, we kept getting disturbed last night by munching noises and discovered Xander chowing down on the bowl of leftover Doritos. LOLWUT.
