You know what? IT'S FUCKING CATURDAY.

And Pallas cats are like the cutest things ever other than the freaky eyeball thing. They're just balls of stripy foof. You wanna pick em up and hug the stuffing out of them, except that they have no immune system so if you breath on them they'll die. Somehow that makes them even more something.

Was climbing the walls and kind of in a shit mood today, so I walked to the library (yay more Sano Ichiro!) and then to Ruthy's, where I was of course gamely tormented with more Michael Jackson, lol. Actually for serious, we were watching the second disk of the HIStory DVD... hmm. There was some stuff on there I'd never friggin heard before - I might have to track those down and give them a second listen. Anyway after that I decided to take a different way home from her apartment, which ended up with me about half an hour out of my way in Crown Heights, but I did eventually get home, lol. Adventures are good.

I'm home now, and alas, back in the same icky headspace I was in when I left. I don't know... today is apparently the day I process through a whole cubic assload of anger at various people and dealing with the damage wrought by carrying that shit around. Not fun, but probably needful.

On the agenda for tonight: Better off Dead, South Park, Oz, the rest of Dad's laundry, work, moping. Feel free to distract me, if y'all are around.

They... they look like someone decided to crossbreed cats with koalas. Oh dear goodness, the fuzzy.

I am beginning to wonder if mope is the disease going around right now. I have been mopey, my roommate has been mopey, three-quarters of random internet friends have been variations on mopey. At least you are medicating mope with tromping and a social life, which even if it doesn't seem to be helping, is probably a step in the right direction.

Ooo, which Sano Ichiro books?! :)

I love the Pallas cats, too. There used to be a couple in the San Diego Zoo's artic exhibit and they would hiss at you in annoyance if you looked at them the wrong way or made meowing noises.

I'm currently on the Black Lotus, and have The Pillow Book of Lady Wisteria for when I finish.
